Overview
The LANL Foundation was created
in early 1997 in recognition of the interdependence of
Los Alamos National Laboratory and Northern New Mexico
communities and exists to enhance the vitality of the region
by investing in education, learning, and community development.
Our commitment to “Investing in Human Potential:
Helping our Children Learn, Nurturing their Dreams, Strengthening
our Communities” is achieved through the Grants
Program,
Scholarship Program, and First
Born Program. Our annual
giving budget is $4 million and our endowment has reached
$60 million. The LANL Foundation is a tax-exempt public
charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue
