12th Annual Banquet The LANL Foundation
will host its 12th Annual Banquet on Friday, August 15, 2008 from 6:30 until 9:30 p.m. at the Ohkay Casino Resort Hotel (Highway 68, Ohkay
Owingeh Pueblo, 2 Miles North of Española). This fundraising event will be held in honor of Senator Pete Domenici and in support of the
Los Alamos Employees’ Scholarship Fund.
In 2008, the LANL Foundation is establishing the Senator Pete Domenici Endowed Scholarship Fund to honor the Senator for his immense
contributions to LANL, the LANL Foundation, and Northern New Mexico communities. This fund is dedicated to providing scholarships to local
high school seniors who demonstrate outstanding leadership qualities and academic excellence. This fund will create seven new, yearly
scholarships, one for each of the counties the LANL Foundation serves, and will help foster the competitiveness of New Mexico’s workforce in
an increasingly complex global economy.
All proceeds from the banquet will benefit the Senator Pete Domenici Scholarship Endowment Fund.
