The LANL Foundation annually hosts a proposal writing workshop where participants learn about effective research strategies, the Foundation's funding process, creating workable budgets and preparing financial statements as tools for writing a successful proposal.

The workshop topics concurrently address the Foundation's competitive educational outreach and small grants programs, and participants learn how to write compelling application narratives that clearly articulate the mission, impact, outcomes, partnerships, and fiscal solvency of their organization, as well as demonstrate community need with realistic goals and workable budgets.

In addition to narrative coaching, participants also learn about the critical role of supporting documents in demonstrating organizational capacity and leadership.
