Quality New Mexico Piñon Award
April 11, 2008 was a proud moment for the LANL Foundation as we received a Piñon Award for performance excellence from Quality New Mexico, a nonprofit organization that seeks to educate New Mexicans about quality; encourages and rewards quality in business, education, government and healthcare; and promotes an economic climate to foster and enhance the prosperity of New Mexico’s citizens. The program uses the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award criteria to evaluate and recognize organizations that make serious commitments to the use of quality concepts and principles.
