LANL Foundation is pleased to be recognized as a 2019 New Mexico Family Friendly Business Gold Award recipient. We are a leader in the State, committed to building a stronger New Mexico as we provide flexibility and support for employees to meet and balance the demands of family and community life in addition to job responsibilities.
The LANL Foundation was acknowledged for:
- Offering paid leave to full-time employees, including personal, maternity/paternity, sick, vacation, bereavement and compensatory leave.
- Supporting employee health by providing subsidized health and dental insurance, as well as modifying work schedules for childcare.
- Allowing for workplace flexibility via the 9/80 alternative work schedule, as well as preapproved flex time and telecommuting when needed.
- Providing economic support through higher-than-average wages in the geographic area as well as in the nonprofit sector. Educational assistance for tuition, registration and books is provided with an approved educational course. Contributions are made to employee retirement through a 401(k) plan.
There is so much more we can accomplish, and we are committed to expanding in each of these areas. We are also working to improve as a workforce in pay equity, diversity, inclusion, community investment and volunteerism.
