Dr. Martha Acosta is a sought-after speaker and consultant and an expert in Human and Organizational Learning. For over 25 years she has helped managers and high-potentials influence, lead, and succeed within some of the world's largest and most-recognized corporations. Martha also represents Harvard Business Publishing (a subsidiary of Harvard Business School) as Senior Moderator who designs and facilitates leadership development programs based on Harvard scholarship.
Before joining Harvard, Martha led the Human Performance Improvement Team for the nuclear facilities at Los Alamos National Laboratory, where she helped develop a cross-laboratory safety initiative with the Department of Energy and received the Director's Achievement Award. Martha is a dedicated community volunteer, serving on task forces and the boards of directors of non-profit educational institutions and economic development organizations.
Martha studied philosophy, math, and science at St. John's College in Annapolis, Maryland. She earned a MBA from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas and a Doctorate of Education from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
Martha lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico and enjoys hiking and biking in the surrounding mountains.
