Sarah Gissinger-Larriva

Scholarship Program Coordinator

As the first full-time Scholarship Program Associate, Sarah is helping to grow the program by building and maintaining the scholarship’s alumni network, as well as assisting with the daily operations of the scholarship program.

Sarah was born and raised in Southern California and moved to Northern New Mexico to work at the Foundation in late 2018. She has years of experience in the education field and is passionate about creating more opportunities for equitable and affordable access to college for all students. Previously, Sarah has worked as a tutor, a volunteer English teacher in Costa Rica, and an intern at the U.S. Department of Education in Washington, DC.

Sarah earned a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Claremont McKenna College and currently resides in Santa Fe.
